In a statement, Trend Micro formalizes the acquisition of TippingPoint for an amount of around $ 300 million. The publisher of security products and seized technology, intellectual property, expertise and a "large base of loyal corporate customers." Trend Micro also states that it will create a division cash Defense Network 3500 customers. TippingPoint will integrate this new entity. "By combining intrusion prevention and detection of faults, Trend Micro created a multifaceted approach to contain sophisticated attacks" wrote the editor. The integration of TippingPoint should benefit from the strategic partnership since 2014 with Trend Micro. The latter states that it will partner with HP for distribution, managed services, OEM activities and security of data and apps. |
